MOMO Press Release

21.10.2017

It has been announced by W5 and Rebuy Stars Luxury Gambling Houses that Slovakian rapper MOMO will be performing at the after-party on November 11, 2017 for W5 and Rebuy Stars’ “Fortune Favors the Brave” event. The kickboxing show is scheduled to start at 19:00CET and will feature 7 main card bouts. Barring everything happens on time MOMO is expected to take the stage around 23:00. Although the fights are VIP entrance only, the after-party will be free and open to the public. However, entrance may be limited depending on space available.
MOMO started out as part of the Bratislava XIV Hip-Hop Group “Strnast” but eventually went out on his own. He is best known for his aggressive rap style, high-energy shows and strong lyrics. He is also well known for his many feuds with other rappers in particular with H16 and its members. A staple in the Hip-hop and rap scene, MOMO is considered one of the best in the game.
According to W5 president Sergey Chepinoga, “After meeting MOMO and talking to him I got this idea of having him perform at our event. The idea just seemed to fit perfectly with what we wanted to do. W5 is known for putting on high-energy shows and fights and we are always looking for like-minded individuals. And if you have ever seen MOMO perform, his energy, lyrics and style fit perfectly with W5. I also liked that he is a die-hard combat sports fan. As a matter of fact, he takes part in boxing on a regular basis. I just couldn’t resist but to incorporate him into our show. We felt like it was the perfect way to end the evening.”
The W5 and Rebuy stars “Fortune Favors the Brave” event will not only mark the 4th time that W5 and Rebuy Stars have joined forces to bring a night of kickboxing inside one of Rebuy’s gambling houses, but it will also mark the end of the fight season for W5. The event will be shown live on O2 in the Czech Republic as well as on W5’s PPV platform at www.w5kick.tv/broadcasts/21. Tickets are on sale at info@w5kick.com, but due to this being a VIP event tables are extremely limited. So, anyone interested in ringside seats to watch fights and MOMO perform should book their table immediately.
