W5: “Fortune Favors the Brave” Returns for an Encore on November 11, 2017

W5 Professional Kickboxing & Rebuy Stars luxury gambling house have more than just their continued relationship to celebrate.  They will be hosting an event on November 11, 2017, which will serve as the grand opening of Rebuy Stars’ newest luxury gambling house in Kosice, Slovakia, which is now Rebuy Stars’ biggest one.
In 2016, W5 and Rebuy Stars brought to all their fans three great events.  The events were held in Zagreb (Croatia) as well as Prievidza and Zvolen (Slovakia).  Overall, these events were largely successful as W5 fighters battled it out in front of a full house.  This year W5 and Rebuy Stars will be taking their show to new heights and a new location, Kosice, Slovakia.
Set in Rebuy Stars newest luxury gambling house in the Eastern capital of Slovakia, this event will mark the official grand opening of Rebuy’s Kosice casino.  For the event W5 plans on putting on a grand show in the theme of Moulin Rouge, which promises to be bright, classy, and attractive, all features fans have come to expect from W5 and Rebuy Star’s Casino. And as is usually the case with W5 tournaments, they have invited top-level fighters while also showcasing the local professional talent.
In order for everyone to enjoy the show around Slovakia and the world, W5 and Rebuy Stars will be working with 213 Sports channel, who will be broadcasting this event using Elements Production, which always delivers high-class, high-quality HD content.  You will be so close you will feel like you are standing right in the middle of the ring.
As for the fight-card it will be top-notch as usual with two titles on the line. The first title fight will pit Andrej “AK-47” Kedves against Habash “Atom” Antoine for W5’s Welterweight European Title.  Andrej currently is 6-0 in W5 fights and quickly becoming the man to beat in his division. All eyes will be on him as he goes up against a much more experienced fighter in Habash.  Habash, with his 85 wins and 28 KOs, is an aggressive fighter who likes to control the ring.  This is a similar style to Andrej, which means controlling the fight from the opening bell is the key to victory in this bout.
The second title fight of the night will see a true legend in Ondrej “Spejble” Hutnik facing off against Miran “Slovenian Rocky” Fabjan for W5’s Light Heavyweight European Title. This fight will be a tough one for Miran Fabjan as Ondrej has faced some of the best in the business. Legendary fighters such as Catalin Morosanu, Mikhail Tyuterev, Clifton Brown, Jan Soukup and Fank Munoz, and he has beaten them all.  However, Miran Fabjan is looking better than ever. Coming off a three-round victory against Dzevad Poturak at W5’s Legends Collide in Koper Slovenia, Miran looked slimmer, quicker, stronger and more importantly extremely well-conditioned. If Miran comes into the fight as prepared as he was in Koper, then this fight may just come down to the difference in height. At 1.87m Ondrej is significantly taller than the 1.80m Miran.  Therefore, Miran will most likely have to find a way inside and try to land some haymakers and short uppercuts. This, however, could prove to be fatal if he lets his guard down, for Ondrej is equally dangerous when using his reach as he is when fighting inside. We are expecting this fight to be a game of chess and a must-see fight of 2017.
As for the rest of the card, fans will see local hero Ivan Bartek (Slovakia) take on Dzenan “Habibi” Poturak (BiH), W5 Summer Boot Camp winner Markus “Terminator” Ehrenhofer (Austria) battle Carl N’Diaye (Sweden), Hard-hitting Viktor Bogutzki(Germany), who has also gone up against big named opponents, versus Viktor Pavlicek(Czech), Milan “Minci” Pales facing off against Stas Kazantsev (Ukraine) and legendary fighter Vladimir Idranyi (Slovakia). We are especially excited to see Vladimir Idranyi’s fight as he will be fighting Omari Boyd from the United States. The Idranyi vs. Boyd fight will be one of the more interesting fights of the night as it will showcase the European vs U.S. style of kickboxing.
All this can be seen on 213 Sports Channel in Slovakia.
For international viewers the fight will be broadcasted live on the following platforms: www.w5kick.tv, Fite.tv, Elite-Box, Flo Combat, and Fightbox.
